I just can't be bloggered anymore!
Royal blog alogalog
I don't like blogging, oh nowah. I love
it-tah.
You know, there really ought to be a little strike-through at the top of that lower-case h in, 'tah' to really get the pronounciation juices going. Unfortunately though, i haven't got a Maltese keyboard, and even if i did you still wouldn't be able to read it, and no doubt, i wouldn't be able to understand what the fffff' i'm going on about.
Hmmm? Anyway, I wonder if any of the royal household have ever dabbled in the grubby world of blogging. There's got to be some little secret closet or compartment where one would find one of her majesty's household sitting on the throne, so to speak, blogging away ten to the dozen about what the butler saw... being done to him by someone higher up, err, in station that is.
Please don't blog me
After me last rant about Royal Mail i
kind of want to rant on about other
things but, at the same time knowing
that although it's less time-consuming
it also has nothing whatsoever to do
with what really interests me - the
stuff that i upload every once and a
while up onto this website.
Site Bloggle
I'd really like to have a blog, but at
the same time, err, providing i've
got some time that is, i'd also like to be
professional and have me a proper
weblog. But, you know something,
i'm not altogether sure that having
either one or the other, or simply
splitting these two types of blogs
into two different web pages is
going to make either one any more
interesting, so that's why i'm
attempting to use this funny made
up word (me hopes) of, 'bloggle' to
create a new sounding catchy word.
So, this new word, 'bloggle' still
having the word blog in it, and maybe
sounding a bit like bottle, which as
everyone knows - means that if you've
got bottle, then you've really got balls.
Or something like that. So, in the
tradition of google silly names (sounding
a bit like bugle), i now name bloggle
(sounding a bit like bog hole, err, i mean
bottle), as my newly-named blog - 'Bloggle'.
I wonder if it'll ever catch on. No? Really!
Anyway, who gives a sh*t!
Joke time. Yay!
Little Johnny is sitting in a biology class,
and the teacher says that an interesting
phenomenon of nature is that only humans
stutter, no other animal in the world does
this.
Johnny's hand shoots up. "Not correct, Miss!" he says. "Please explain, Johnny," replies the teacher. "Well, Miss, the other day I was playing with my cat on the verandah. The neighbours' Great Dane came around the corner, and my cat went "ffffffffff! ffffffffffff! ffffffffff!", and before he could say "f*** @ff!", the dog ate him!"
What's old & new?
You know that little rant of mine about Royal
Mail and the unions? Well, it seems that the
looming strike is now no more. It seems to
have fizzled out. So, i guess there's no need
to brood over things. Oh, and you know that
four day week thingy i'm doing... well, so far
touch wood *plastic frelling keys*, it's not
so bad - yet that is. I can't wait (oh yes i can)
to see what happens when the traffic (mail)
really starts to pick up - OMG!
Bloggle me timbers! I clean forgot about the site. Yes, this one. So, what's new then. I would like to have some more images content on the home page, but for now it might be a better idea to leave the info gathering home page mostly text-based, while creating an image-laden layering of sub pages with lots of image product goods. At the moment, i want the same format for the home page but, whilst also replacing those dodgy dl lists, such as the ones that contain more info to be given the new bookshelves treatment.
Fun & Games
I've added a games section. I've tried
something like this before. At that time
i had a whole page devoted to top Mac
games - a sort of, 'Best of the Year',
or, 'End of Year Roundup'.
To be honest, i'm not really into games. They're much too time consuming, and anyway i can - depending of the genre of game - get rather grrrr, aggressive!
One day, maybe, i'll get meself a new Mac - one with Mac OS X installed. I bet you're shocked to learn that i'm still using Mac OS 9.2.2. Yep, that's right. I'm pretty sure that once i put some of my OS X book titles to good use you'll see a much OS Xish type of new liveried website - maybe.
Mind the gaps
There are things missing. There are
also new sections of info, and these
also have gaps - large gaps! Anyway,
i've got rid of me magazine table rack.
It was the last table that i had displayed
on the main body of pages within this
website. There are still some left, but
those that may remain are jumbled in
alongside some of my css tricks.
And speaking of css tricks, there's my mostly new twinlist_9 dl list. That one was created especially to put together another set of magazine info pages. I'm not altogether sure now that i'll be going down that route afterall.
The End
