 Time

No time to sleep

No time to sleep when you're listening to Vibes FM. But, then again, there's not much time for anything else these days.

Losing time
When it comes to time, I'm losing it. I've never really got on with schedules, and though they were always fun putting them together they only ever worked for about a week, and well, they were soon forgotten about.

So, how on Earth is anyone supposed to get anything done these days? I haven't got a clue. But, there is something i have adopted of late - a new kind of philosophy. Ok, i'm not sure if it really is new, but it's new to me. You know when you've got too much time on your hands, and yet you still can't get stuff done.

A new philosophy
So, what works for you then? Schedules, to-do-lists, or how about working a 4-day week? No no no, i don't want none of that rubbish. I need a routine; something that I'm comfortable with, and something that won't take away my precious time trying to get things prepared inorder to get things done.

Inorder to get stuff done you've got to get stuff done. So, what you really need is a routine that is satisfying, achieveable, something that makes common sense, and doesn't get in the way of your relaxation:

Doing a little bit of something everyday

Of course, that doesn't mean doing a little bit of one something, or two somethings. It could be any number of somethings just as long as it's not a little bit of everything. And don't go blogging on your websites everyday, otherwise you'll burn yourself out, and be back to square one again - fresh out of ideas.

Doing a little bit of something everyday will take you away from the computer. After all, there are other things to be getting on with.

MacRankin's way
With this new philosophy of mine i'll be enhancing this website in a way that i never did before. I'll probably start off by making some notes, as i have done here only to later add them to an article, and then i'll probably create a whole new web page, and make it more permanent; sort of like building up the layers of pasta in a lasagne.

What's New?

Bookshelf
I've managed to get some of me  bookshelf  (web page) together. It's not much, but it's a start, and of course i'll be building it up a little bit, or more than a little bit at a time :)
